+===== Design Process / Software =====
+  * First, a model must be designed in a CAD (Computer-Aided Design) program like Fusion360, SketchUp, AutoCAD, etc.
+  * Next, the model must be converted into “tool paths” by CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software so the machine knows how to carve that model. Examples: MaserCAM, MeshCAM, SprutCAM, etc. The tool paths are expressed in something called “g-code”. 3D printers also use g-code.
+    * Some programs, like Fusion360, have both CAD/CAM.
+  * Finally, Tormach's software (PathPilot™, based on LinuxCNC) accepts g-code files, and controls the CNC through the cutting process.
