Festool Guide Rail Connectors Checklist: (To Connect Two Guide Rails)
- Use Allen Key or hex wrench in stored in the handle of the track saw.
- Place connectors at its half way point. Snug screws to hold in place.
- Warning: be careful unscrewing screws on slotted connector. Screws easily fall off and can be lost.
- Leave daylight gap (<1/64“) between two ends of guide rails – guide rails are not cut to perfect 90 degrees.
- Tighten first the bottom-side connector to straighten & align. Do not over tighten.
- Tighten last the top-side connector to stiffen the connection. Do not over tighten.
- At end, return Allen Key or hex wrench to the handle of the track saw.
