Make/Model

Original machine was custom built by Ron Bean and Tom Gondek at Milwaukee Makerspace. Since it has arrived at The Bodgery it has been rebuilt and modified primarily by Alex Kovell, Tony Roman, and Chris Kaufmann.

Training Required

This is a red tag tool. You MUST BE TRAINED before using it.

    • 150 watt, 115vAC/1ph/60Hz 2.5 amp input, 24VDC 6.3 amp output.

Controller Board

Bits

  • 1/4 to 1/8 step down collet.
  • We have a few 1/8” cutting head, 1/8“ shank, chipbreaker bits.
  • Please provide your own bits if you wish to do anything precise.

23/04/2016 Switched X,Y steppers from parallel to series. Power draw was too high in parallel.
