Make/Model
Original machine was custom built by Ron Bean and Tom Gondek at Milwaukee Makerspace. Since it has arrived at The Bodgery it has been rebuilt and modified primarily by Alex Kovell, Tony Roman, and Chris Kaufmann.
Training Required
This is a red tag tool. You MUST BE TRAINED before using it.

Stepper Motors
Oriental Motor Co. VEXTA C6244-9212K stepper motors (X,Y axes)5.7V, 1.6A, 1.8 degrees/step, current limited - running 24v- One of original X,Y motors burned out, they have been replaced with:
- X,Y-axis NEMA23 425oz/in 2.8A Stepper Motor ¼” Dual shaft (KL23H286-20-8B) wired in series
- Z-axis ALM 90130-25-SPA stepper motor
- 5.7V, 1.6A, 1.8 degrees/step, current limited - running 24v
Power Supplies
- Microtel SP-150-24IER power supplies
- 150 watt, 115vAC/1ph/60Hz 2.5 amp input, 24VDC 6.3 amp output.
Controller Board
Bits
- 1/4 to 1/8 step down collet.
- We have a few 1/8” cutting head, 1/8“ shank, chipbreaker bits.
- Please provide your own bits if you wish to do anything precise.
